you don't say

Mon May 1, 2006, 4:34 PM
I like when people have no clue what they are talking about but feel inclined to critque you. This recently happened with my band and we write for fun. Its a hobby for me I don't get paid, I do it for to blow off a little steam. Yet there is always a critic. I have offers from two other bands right now. I have been thinking about taking them up on one of there offers for quite some time now. I have been with my band for a while now and I have probably sunk more time and money into that, than anything else I am involved with. It hasn't really gotten me anywhere or made me any money. The band that I am looking to join now will probably make a lot of money per night because its a celtic band. You don't even have to bring people out to these events, because people already know about your music. I have a practice with the group next monday night. its going to be tough with work but the hell with it, its worth the time.

It's hilarious when people attempt to use something they have no experience using, isn't it? =P Seeing clueless people attempt to critique is like...like...

...like watching a 13 year old blonde girl try to properly field strip a '77 chevelle. Okay, so that may not be the BEST comparison, but its still funny in both instances in which the persons in question grab the wrong tool of the trade. :XD:

Celtic music eh? Now THATS different.

There are tons of people that have no clue what they are talking about when they critque work on this sit. I don't know about a '77 chevelle, I think 68-72 were the good years for that car. Yeah celtic music is pretty cool, right now I'm pretty big into rockabilly. I'll up load my some new work when I get my laptop back from the repair shop.

Well, it MAY be due to how open this site is. It's open to amateurs (like me), and serious artists and everything in between, so theres BOUND to be ignorance and the want to measure up to the greats and the college-ed-YOO-KATE-ED nutters out there. =P

Yeah, you're right in that respect about the cars. My piece of shit won't start and keeps devouring its battery, I mAY just have to dig even farther into antiquity if I want something that WORKS. =\

Hah! Rockabilly. Thats sweet. Sheesh, my musical tastes fluctuate daily so one day I'll be killing my braincells with KMFDM and the next I be chilling out to some Ennio Morricone. Right now I'm taking the ol' sledgehammer to my system with Deicide and classic Pantera though, for SOME godawful reason.
